Chinese smartphone manufacturer Lenovo has launched two variants of its K8 Note device in India at a launch event on Wednesday. The devices start retailing for a price of Rs 12,999 and will be exclusively available on Amazon India.

The Lenovo K8 Note comes in two variants sporting 3GB RAM alongwith 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM alongwith 64GB internal storage. The latter variant will retail at a price of Rs 13,999.
Both of the K8 Note variants will go on sale on August 18.

Lenovo K8 Specifications
Display and Design: The Lenovo K8 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The device gets a Oleophobic coating and is also splash resistant.
Processor: The device is powered by a deca-core 2.3GHz Helio processor supported by ARM Mali T-880 MP4 GPU.
Camera: The K8 Note sports a dual-lens camera on the rear with 13MP and 5MP sensors. The front camera is 13MP selfie snapper.
Memory and Storage: The device comes in two variants: 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage.
Battery: The Lenovo K8 Note is powered by a huge 4,000 mAh battery unit which is charged via a 15-watt turbo charger.
The Lenovo K8 Note will run stock Android Nougat 7.1.1 and the fingerprint sensor is located on the rear panel. The device comes in Venom Black and Fine Gold colours and supports 4G VoLTE.
Reacting to rumours that the company was superstitious and didn’t launch the ‘K7’ series, Anuj Sharma, Head of Product Marketing (Smartphones) at Lenovo, said: “There was a K7 Note but that wasn’t killer enough. We skipped a generation, took a leap and made ‘K8 Note'”.
