Coolpad has launched another device in India, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite C which will retail in the offline market at a price of Rs 7,777. The device is Coolpad’s first to sport Android Nougat 7.1 and will go on sale on August 5, 2017.

Prior to this, Coolpad had launched the Note 5 Lite in March 2017, which retailed at Rs 8,199 and the current device seems to be an even scaled down model of their previous release.
With this device, the company is looking to venture into the offline retail space as before this all their devices launched went on sale online, with the last one being exclusively sold via Amazon.
“Keeping the strategy of bringing high specs smartphones at an affordable price, we have yet again launched a product that our fans expect. After being ranked as one of the best sellers in the online space, it gives us immense pleasure to announce that with Note 5 Lite C to expand in the offline smartphone market,” said Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India.
The company’s head also noted that they’re planning to launch their flagship device on August 20 which will be exclusively available via Amazon and four more devices will come as an offline exclusive by the end of 2018.
Coolpad Note 5 Lite C Specifications
Display: The Note 5 Lite C features a 5-inch Full HD display.
Processor: It will be powered by a quad core Snapdragon 210 SoC, which clocks at 1.1GHz.
Camera: The device sports a 8MP snapper at the rear and a 5MP snapper
Storage: The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C comes equipped with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which is expandable to up to 64GB.
Battery: The device is backed by a 2500mAh battery unit with a company-claimed 240 hour standby time.
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C offers the following connectivity options: 2G, 3G and 4G VOLTE, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and will be launched in grey and gold colours. The fingerprint reader is located at the rear panel.
The device will be available in offline multi-brand stores in Delhi NCR, Haryana, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
