Micromax Selfie 2 has been launched by the company in the sub-Rs 10,000 range, laying focus on the camera and Truecaller dialler integration just like the last phone launched by them.
The device has been launched in the sub-Rs 10,000 market, and with the given price tag, the company seems to be targeting the new adopters of smartphones, especially in tier-2, tier-3 cities and rural areas.
The Micromax Selfie 2 is retailing at a starting price of Rs 9,999 and will go on sale tomorrow, on August 1, 2017.
Display: The Micromax Selfie 2 comes with a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D display
Processor: The device is powered by MediaTek MT6737 Quad-core processor, which is designed to consume less power for its operations.
Memory and Storage: The Selfie 2 comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage which can be further expanded by 64GB using a microSD card.
Camera: It sports a 13MP rear camera setup with Sony sensors and a 8MP selfie camera with soft selfie flash
Battery: The smartphone is powered by a 3000 mAh battery unit.
The camera mode gives you a real time Bokeh option, allowing you to click pictures that seem to be taken on the macro mode of an SLR camera.
The phone will run on Android Nougat and supports dual-sims, with a separate slot for the microSD card. Micromax is also offering a 100-day replacement warranty as part of the one year warranty on the device.
The phone comes along with gesture, motion keys that simplify tasks such as music switching, snoozing alarm, and more. The Micromax Selfie 2 sports a fingerprint reader on the rear.
