Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Meizu, has unveiled two variants of its flagship device, the Meizu Pro 7 and Meizu Pro 7 Plus. The highly anticipated devices take a giant leap as not only do they adhere to the Dual-lens camera trend but also bring in a dual-display.
The rear display of the Meizu 7 Pro and Meizu 7 Pro Plus is an AMOLED unit which displays notifications, active music playlist and even assists in capturing selfies using the rear camera.
“The Meizu PRO 7 and PRO 7 Plus convey the very essence of Meizu – our passion for innovating and our commitment to creating premium devices,” Ard Boudeling, Head of Global Marketing at Meizu, announced today.
Meizu has been witnessing a decline in sales in China as companies like Xiaomi and Huawei have seen a growth. Innovations such as a dual screen, if catches user’s fancy, can prove to be a factor that propels the popularity of the OEM further.
