There have been numerous rumours surrounding the launch of the device and as the date for the device’s launch is approaches, more information about the device has surfaced.

According to the latest reports, the Moto Z2 Force will be supported by all the four major telecom operators in the US.

The Moto Z2 Force makes the company’s premium offering — the Moto Z2 — stand even stronger as not only is it dust and water resistant but the company also claims that the device is sturdier than competitors and its display is shatterproof.

Moto Z2 Force Specifications (Tentative)

  • Display: The Moto Z2 Force will sport a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution
  • Processor: It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset
  • Memory and Storage: The Moto Z2 Force will come in two variants featuring 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage
  • Camera: The device will come with a dual-lens 12MP rear camera and 8MP front camera — both with dual-LED
  • Battery: It will be backed by a 2,730mAh battery unit and run on Android Nougat 7.1.1

While the Moto Z Force was backed by a 3,300 mAh battery, the downsize in the upcoming device can be a result of the Snapdragon 835 SoC, which consumes less power and provides increased efficiency.

The Moto Z2 Force will retail for a price of $720 (Rs 46,000 approximately) and will be available in three colours: Super Black, Fine Gold and Lunar Grey.

Earlier this month, rumours surrounding the Moto G5S Plus also gained momentum as the Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus were launched in India.
