Android’s favourite app store, Google Play Store has been redesigned as the Editor’s Choice section now houses curated lists too, making it easier for people to find apps that suit their needs and provide the best experience on Android.
Prior to this update, the Play Store’s Editor’s Choice section only housed three categories: Editor’s Choice Apps, Editor’s Choice Games and Android Excellence Awardees.
The update is currently being rolled out to Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Japan, USA and South Korea ‘with expansion to more countries soon’ and will add to the existing categories.
“The Editors’ Choice section on Google Play has long been a fan favourite, but we’re kicking it up a notch by adding better curation to help you find high-quality apps and games that you’ll love,” Google stated.
The new curated section contains lists of several different genres of games and apps that are considered ‘high-quality’ by the editorial.
Curated lists will contain app genres such as 5 best Fitness app or Navigation apps and game genres such as 5 best RPGs or Arcade and more.
