Reliance Jio has overhauled the tariff plan for its Prime members as Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer gradually turns three months old. The fastest growing telecom operator in India has reduced the validity of Rs 309 plan from 84 days to 56 days while launching a new Rs 399 plan with three months or 84 days validity.
The latest tariff change is quite significant in many ways. Firstly, there are no more exclusive first-time recharge benefits and the plans are applicable both for new customers as well as existing subscribers.
In fact, the early adopters of the Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer, who are nearing their validity can recharge with Rs. 399 and gain access to three months of usage.
According to the new structure, the Rs 309 plan will provide you with unlimited calls, SMS, data with 1 GB daily FUP (Fair Usage Policy) for 56 days.
Previously, this used to be 84 days for the first time users, and 28 days for those who have already recharged once. Similarly, the Rs. 509 plan offering a daily FUP of 2 GB high-speed Internet now comes with a validity of 56 days.
Additionally, there is a new Rs 349 plan with 10 GB + 10 GB high-speed 4G data and unlimited calls, SMS, etc. It has a validity period of 56 days.
The long terms plans of Jio has also been renovated. For Rs 999 you will now get 90 GB of high-speed data along with other unlimited benefits for 90 days. Likewise, the Rs 1999 plan offers 155 GB for 120 days, Rs 4999 will give you 380 GB for 210 days and the Rs 9999 package comes with 780 GB data and 390 days or 13 months validity.
Do note that these changes are valid for both prepaid and postpaid users. The plans we talked about here are only applicable for the Prime members of Reliance Jio. For general users, the Rs. 303 plan is still available with unlimited calls, SMS, and 2.5 GB of monthly data. You can still opt to be a prime member for a year by paying Rs. 99.
