OnePlus 3T Prices Slashed: But Should You Buy it?

A few weeks after the launch of OnePlus’ latest flagship killer, the OnePlus 5, the company has slashed the price of its OnePlus 3T device in India, which is now available for Rs 27,999 (64GB) at OnePlus kiosks in NCR and the Experience store in Bangalore.

Earlier this year in May, the company had announced that they will be discontinuing the production of the OnePlus 3T (erstwhile flagship) device and will also stop selling it in a majority of the markets globally.

However, the OnePlus 3T is still available in the Indian market until the current stocks last and now the company has decided to offer their soon-to-be-discontinued device at a discounted price.

The current deal is available from July 10 through July 12.

The OnePlus 3T with 64GB internal storage retailed at Rs 29,999 since its launch in December 2016 and the price slash gives customers a Rs 2,000 rebate if they purchase the device now.

Although the price slash may seem convincing to prospective buyers, it’s worth noting that the new OnePlus 5 device is available for a few thousand more at Rs 32,999 and it’s always better to invest in the latest tech.

On top of that, the company also tweeted that there will be exclusive deals on OnePlus devices during Amazon’s Prime Day sale which begins at 6 pm on July 10.

Currently, there are two ‘Upcoming’ deals for both the 6/64GB and 8/128GB variants of the OnePlus 5 and though it’s unlikely that prices for the new OnePlus flagship will be slashed, it’s quite possible that the company will offer additional OnePlus 5 merchandise alongwith the device.
