Nokia via HMD Global may soon launch in UK with the Nokia 3 going on sale next week, Forbes reported.
The report that comes after worries that the UK may not see the new phones claim that the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 will release in the country in August.
While the Nokia 3 will be available on the 12th July and retail at £119.99 including tax as a SIM-free handset, the Nokia 6 will go on sale on the 2nd of August for £219.99. The Nokia 5 will follow two weeks later on the 16th of August for £179.99 SIM-free.
The Nokia 6 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, powered by Snapdragon 430 SoC, features 4GB RAM, 64GB built-in storage, sports a 16MP rear and 8MP front camera, backed by 3000mAh battery and runs on Android Nougat.
The unibody Nokia 6 is made of a single block of aluminium 6000 series and hence is as sturdy a device that the brand name is known to produce. It will come in four colours — Matte Black, Silver, Tempered Blue and Copper.
The Nokia 5 comes with a 5.2-inch HD display, powered by Snapdragon 430 SoC, features 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage, sports a 13MP rear and 8MP front camera, backed by 3000mAh battery and runs on Android Nougat. The 5 will come in four colours — Matte Black, Silver, Tempered Blue and Copper.
The Nokia 3 comes with a 5-inch HD display, powered by Mediatek MTK 6737 SoC, features 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage, sports a 8MP front and rear camera, backed by 2650mAh battery and runs on Android Nougat. The three too comes in four colours — Matte Black, Silver White, Tempered Blue and Copper White.
Specifications for the revamped classic Nokia 3310 includes a 2.4-inch QVGA curved display, which is covered with a polarised layer to make for better reading in the sunlight. The device is powered by a 1200mAh battery, which is charged via a micro-USB port.
The company claims that the battery lasts for 31 days on standby, 22 hours of talk time and 51 hours of music playback. In terms of storage, the Nokia 3310 has 16MB of built-in memory which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The device sports a modest 2MP camera with LED flash and runs on Nokia Series 30+ operating system.
