Google Maps, Apple Maps, and many others have made it easier to commute both intracity, intercity or across the continent. But have you gotten sick of the lady telling you where to go and want someone else to?
How about having the current US President Donald Trump tell you where to go and where not to in his own unique manner? Sounds interesting right?
Karta GPS, an open source offline navigation app, which also contains curated content from services like Foursquare and Yelp.
The service recently added two new voices to give users on-the-go directions as well as help them find restaurants and popular spots in the area.
While one of the new voices is the current President Trump, another one features that of former US President Bill Clinton which will keep you entertained with the ‘old southern’ accent.
“When navigating with GPS you often have to hear some monotone voice explain when to take the next right or roundabout. Karta GPS’s most recent feature will make that boredom a thing of the past,” the app makers, Karta Software Technologies, said.
Karta GPS app is available for both iOS and Android users and there are already over 1 million users of the app which was launched in March 2017.
Donald Trump’s voice for navigation isn’t set by default but is free to download and can be downloaded and activated from within the app. However, if you want to listen to former President Bill Clinton giving you directions and telling you about nearby places, then you’ll have to pay a price of INR 250 ($3.89 approximately)

“These new voice features will make users day, turning their navigation experiences into the most entertaining ride they have ever taken,” said Joao Neto, CEO, Karta GPS.
You’ll get to hear things like ‘Go straight ahead, it’s tremendous’, ‘Turn right, ok’, ‘you are approaching a fixed radar and that is not fake news’ and ‘you have reached your destination, let’s make navigation great again, ok’.
Apart from Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, there are a number of other free as well as premium voices that users can download for navigation.
While generic voices
sporting accents from different countries are free to download, you’ll have to pay $3-5, if you want directions from a voice that sounds like your gym instructor, a mafia boss, a Nordic god and much more.
The app downloads the entire map of your selected country and saves it in the storage of your device, which enables users to navigate routes even when they’re offline.
