All You Need to Know About Reliance Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer

Reliance Jio has come forward with a new tariff plan to disrupt the telecom market further and increase their subscriber base. The new Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer has two tariff at slashed prices offering more data for longer validity.

A week back, Reliance was directed by TRAI to discontinue their Summer Surprise offer but as the telecom operator acknowledged TRAI’s advice, they had also promised to come back with another offer for their customers.

Earlier this month Reliance had confirmed that 72 million people have subscribed to their Jio Prime service — one of the largest and quickest conversions of free to paid user base — as the company has also extended the deadline to become a Jio Prime member to April 15.

Reliance Jio Summer Surprise offer, which was started after the Happy New Year offer ended on March 31, 2017, was discontinued and has now been replaced with the Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer.

The Dhan Dhana Dhan offer is only valid for the first recharge for Prime members and can not be activated alongwith the Jio Summer Surprise offer.

The Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer

Reliance Jio has unveiled two tariff plans under the Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. One is worth Rs. 309 and another one for Rs.509.

Both the plans are valid for 84 days and will provide users with 84GB and 168GB data benefits, respectively, for that period of time — equivalent to 28GB and 56GB data per 28 days.

Availability for Jio Prime Member

Not all users get the same offers. The Jio website requires you to enter your phone number in order to see which plans your number is eligible for.

We tried with two different numbers and while only one plan was available for the non-prime number, two plans are shown for the number with Prime membership.

Availability for Jio non-Prime Member

While it’s unclear whether the difference in the tariffs being showcased for both the number is due to the non-Prime/Prime member factor, we feel that might be the case.

If you haven’t yet subscribed Jio’s Prime membership then the website will also prompt you to subscribe and will charge an additional Rs.99 while billing for the tariff.

This means that non-Prime members will be paying a total of Rs.408 or Rs.608 when buying either of these tariffs.

The payment can be made via JioMoney, Paytm, internet banking, UPI or debit and credit cards.
