Lenovo is making waves with its latest launch of the P2 smartphone in India, and it comes with a massive battery at 5100mAh, which the company claims will last for several days on a single charge.
The device which was first showcased at IFA in September 2016 in Berlin has been launched in two variants in India.
The one with 3GB RAM will cost Rs. 16,999 and 4GB RAM variant is worth Rs. 17,999.
Flipkart is the exclusive seller of the Lenovo P2 in India, and the sale of the devices kicks off at midnight on Wednesday.
Currently, according to International Data Corporation (IDC), Lenovo ranks second in the Indian smartphone consumer market, just below Samsung and above Xiaomi.
Qualcomm’s Snappy Processor
The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor which clocks at 2GHz and is supported by Adreno 506 GPU, giving PC-class graphic support ability to the device.
Full HD Display
The device comes with a 5.5″ AMOLED Full HD display, which is big enough to give you a comfortable viewing experience as well fit in your pocket without much hassles. It’s home key also houses the fingerprint sensor.
Not Enough Storage
The device comes in two variants, both of which have the same 32GB onboard storage with an option to expand it up to 128GB via microSD card. As mentioned above the cheaper variant comes with 3GB RAM and the costlier option has 4GB RAM.
Camera with Sony’s Sensor
The device packs a 13MP rear camera with Sony’s IMX258 sensor to capture all the happening moments around you in a jiffy and the front camera is a 5MP unit.
In addition to the device’s QuickCharge capabilities, the company also claims that the device can charge other smartphones as well, as it houses a big 5100mAh battery.
In addition to all these features, the phone also receives a physical button on the metallic side panel to toggle the battery saver mode which shuts off most of the Android functions and only keeps calling, texting and clock function running on the device.
