Android Nougat Update for Moto Z Announced
Lenovo has announced that two of its latest devices — the Moto Z and Moto Z Force — will be receiving the Android Nougat update with Daydream support this week.

This announcement comes as a follow-up to the company’s last month update which listed out 15 devices that were to receive the Android Nougat update by the end of the year, worldwide.
The company stated in their blog, “These are the first smartphones from another manufacturer to be recognised by Google as Daydream-ready devices – a distinction given to phones that have been certified for the Daydream platform and are built for VR with high-resolution displays, ultra-smooth graphics and high-fidelity sensors for precise head tracking.”
The Moto Z Force isn’t available in India. The Moto X device launched last year is slated to get a Nougat update this December, but Moto G3 and Moto E3 Power won’t.
How Does Daydream Compatibility Matter?
Daydream brings Virtual Reality (VR) to your palms as you’d be able to explore the world seated in the comfort of your home.
You can watch sports events, attend concerts, get an overwhelming cinematic experience or play video games and feel yourself in the thick of things.
There’s much more to the new experience which is different and is sure to be thrilling to anyone who has had a go at it. To experience Daydream, you’ll need Google’s VR headset and controller.
