We have covered quite a few apps using which you can download wallpapers on your Android to customize its looks. These apps rely on online repositories to download and apply new wallpapers on your device. That said, the sources of these photos are very limited and there are chances that you might even get bored of them.
But today I am going to talk about 3 different apps for Android, which can generate wallpapers for you. Yes, you read it right! Using these apps, you can be 99% sure that you will never use the same wallpaper twice.
The only thing to note here is that you must only proceed if you love abstract art. If you want specific wallpapers of cars or Star Wars, it’s better to stick with traditional wallpaper apps. So without further ado, let’s look at these three apps.
1. Tapet – Infinite Wallpapers
Tapet is one of its kind wallpaper generator and mixes math with some colors to come up with amazing wallpapers. I am not exactly sure how Tapet or any of the apps in the list works, but the wallpaper generated by it is amazing.
They are generated as per your device resolution, which means that you will get the best possible viewing experience. You can set the app to cycle wallpapers periodically. As none of the images are downloaded from the internet and also are not live wallpapers. That means, you don’t have to worry about data and battery consumption.
There are different patterns available in the app which are applied randomly. But if you want just some specific patterns, you will have to opt for the pro version. I have set the app to change the wallpaper every 5 mins and it does an awesome job in coming out with new and distinct wallpapers.
2. Wallpaper Generator
Tapet is great for users who want everything to be automated. But if you are a kind of user who needs a bit of a variety and control over your wallpapers, you can surely try Wallpaper Generator. The idea of the app is a bit different and it gives you some categories to start with and further gives some patters to choose under each category.
Once you have made these selections, you can tap on the generate button to generate different wallpapers based on that pattern and then apply as a wallpaper. Once a wallpaper is generated, you can select individual elements and even move it if you wish to customize it even further.
The developers are adding new patters and categories regularly. The app might require some manual work when compared to Tapet, but at the same time gives more freedom to make personal choices.
3. PolyGen – Create Polygon Art
If you are still looking for more, you can even try PolyGen that creates unlimited polygon art for you. The app can generate wallpaper in specific resolution and therefore you can even get full HD wallpapers for your PC. The app generates endless amounts of polygon patters in different texture of colors. So it literally translates to an infinite number of wallpapers again.
One of the best feature about the app is that you can even turn a custom image to polygon art and that’s a work of art.
The app has some pro features like custom colors and textures. But you will have to pay for them.
So these were three cool apps for Android which can generate wallpapers for you. I am sure these apps will help you a lot if you really want your phone to stand out of the crowd. The automated wallpaper cycle of Tapet makes it the best for users who don’t like manual effort for such tasks, but PolyGen makes custom art really amazing.
So which one are you gonna pick?
