Phew! Five years of running Guiding Tech. Not an insignificant milestone for a tech blog in an age where making money out of any form of web publishing without deep pockets is becoming increasingly harder.
Well, we’re still here and we’re here to stay. Here’s a quick rundown of what we’ve achieved so far in this journey.
29 Million Users Served!
Right, over 29 million people have visited this blog according to Google Analytics.
Chrome Leads the Way
Who knew Chrome will become such a formidable force in the world of browsers.
Americans, Stay Awesome
United States leads the country-wise traffic list by a big margin.
Our Readers Love Us!
Here’s the snapshot of a recent comment posted on one of our posts. This is one of the many such comments we’ve received, and continue to receive.
Writers From Around the World Have Contributed
Over the years, Guiding Tech has seen several amazing writers contribute to the site from around the world. US, Australia, UK, India, China, Peru, Romania, you name it. It’s incredible to think that I have had a chance to interact and work with a team that’s spread across continents. Long live the internet!
We Have Witnessed Almost Steady Growth
Over the years, Guiding Tech has grown slowly and almost steadily. There were one or two bumps in the way when the traffic dropped, but it wasn’t long before we bounced back. Goes to show that our content is trusted by users and search engines alike.
We’ve come a long way and there’s a long road ahead. We will continue to produce great content to help the everyday gadget user become smarter with technology, and we will keep working on thinking about new ways to do it better.
Thank you to all our staff, readers, friends and well-wishers who’ve helped us persevere and move forward.
Here’s to the next five years of GT!
P.S. We’re taking a break from publishing today and tomorrow (1st Jan). We’ll resume regular posting from Friday.
