We have already shown you how to jailbreak your iPhone or other iOS devices running iOS 6. The jailbreak is still tethered but it already provides a series of additional features and mods that can be enabled.One great example of this is TVLocker, an application that allows you to enable a really cool animation when locking your iPhone, making it look like your are turning off a very old TV set.
Let’s take a look at how to install TVLocker on your jailbroken iPhone.
Step 1: On your jailbroken iPhone, go to Cydia and tap on Search at the bottom of the screen. Search for TVLocker. If you have the right sources installed on your iPhone, TVLocker will show up after a short while. Tap on it.
Step 2: At the top right of the TVLocker screen, tap on Install. Restart your iPhone.
Note: Since iOS 6 jailbreak is tethered, don’t forget to plug your iPhone to your PC or Mac when restarting it.
That’s it! With TVLocker installed and enabled, your iPhone’s screen will look like an old TV set every time you lock it. Additionally, while TVLocker is free, it also offers a paid version (TVLocker Pro) that allows you to customize some aspects of the locking animation.
