Pinterest is a visual bookmarking and image sharing service. You might think there’s no place for text there apart from taking up bit of the comment space. When you look around Pinterest, there are a lot of textual pins – quotes, puns, posters, and general slogans exhorting you to live your life well. But they aren’t pure text – they are images with typography. Pinterest doesn’t allow sharing of text snippets yet (and I guess it never will).
Your next best bet is to whip out your favorite graphics editor and make a simple image file with your text copied on it, and share it as an image file. Well, it is a lot of work. It’s less of a work if you use a service like Share As Image.
