Flash Player is an important component which drastically improves one’s internet experience. It lets you watch flash videos such as movies, music videos etc. in the browser itself.
So what if Steve Jobs doesn’t let Adobe Flash Player to work on iOS devices. This doesn’t mean that you cannot watch flash videos on your iPhone or iPod touch.
Follow the tutorial below to see how to play flash videos on your iOS device.
Step 1.
Open Safari from the Springboard.
Step 2.
In the navigation bar, type the following address -
http://iosflashvideo.fw.hu
Step 3.
Hit Go and let the webpage open.
Step 4.
Once the webpage has loaded completely, tap on the + button in the bottom.
Step 5.
Among the options that pop-up, tap on Add Bookmark.
Step 6.
Now, tap on Save.
Step 7.
Come back to the webpage and now tap on the Bookmarks icon as shown in the screenshot.
Step 8.
Tap on Edit and open iOSFlashVideo.
Step 9.
Now, edit the address of the bookmark by deleting everything before the word javascript. Refer to the screenshots below for better understanding.
Step 10.
Save it by tapping on Done.
Step 11.
That’s it. Now, go ahead and open any of the supported websites to watch your favourite flash video files. To view the video, simply open the iOSFlashVideo bookmark on the respective webpage.
The video would now start playing. The above method is a very simple way of playing flash videos on your device.
Note – You would require OPlayer to view embedded video files such as Megavideo.

Hi Rebecca, I cannot confirm if it would work on iPad as i do not own one at the moment. But, why don’t you give it a try and let us know. Also, you can try Skyfire browser to play flash videos on your iPad.

It worked on my 4s! In step 4, instead of a plus sign, there is now the curved arrow. Other than that, everything else is described perfectly. To do step 9, I cut and pasted the address of the bookmark into a notepad where it was easy to edit as described, then I just pasted it back to where I cut it from. Thanks so much!!

Easier to copy the link in step 9 into notes, delete the text before javascript as requested, then edit the bookmark and paste.

Hi. I took my iPhone 4s into the shop where I bought it from. The lady downloaded the program as u have stated. When I go to watch videos on demand on my iPhone, all I get is a black square in the centre of the iPhone. With the previous web pg that I chose the video from, still in the background. Is there no other flash players for them? I have buying others from itunes, they all come up with the black screen when I play the video
