Apple’s video creation app for iOS, Clips, is getting an update which will add Disney and Pixar characters to the app in new graphic overlay and poster options — giving users more ways to express.
Clips app is available on Apple App Store for iOS on both iPhone and iPad and now users will be able to use Pixar character overlays and posters in their photos and video clips.
In addition to that, the Clips app also receives several usability improvements which make it easier to make the videos or photos expressive using the added options.
“To complement the collection of characters, new Disney-designed posters can be added to videos as playful title cards to help tell a story,” Apple stated.
The Clips 1.1 app houses animated overlays featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and other characters from Pixar’s Toy Story and Inside Out like Woody, Jessie, Joy, Fear and more.
“Clips also adds 10 new Apple-designed overlays and 12 posters that feature dramatic graphics, beautifully rendered backgrounds and customizable animated text,” the company adds.
These include glistening water, slow motion billowing smoke, other nature-related graphics and 3-D pop-up art which will bring more options for video creators on Clip
While all the new iPhone and iPad’s come loaded with Clips app, others running iOS can download it from the App Store.
Earlier this week, Apple released an iOS update which patched serious security vulnerabilities with the device’s WiFi which could have led to a hacker controlling your device.
The security update was rolled out in the form of iOS update 10.3.3 for iPhone 5 and later, iPad 4th generation and later, and iPod touch 6th generation.
