You can use Google Reader for not only reading feeds of your favorite blogs, but also sharing those feeds to different social media sites. To activate this feature you need to modify some reader settings. Here is a step by step guide to do it.
1. At the top right, click on “Settings” link. Select “Reader settings” from the drop down menu.

2. In the reader setting, click on “Send To” tab.

3. Now check the box next to the name of the social media site which you want to include in send to items.

4. If you don’t find your favorite social media site in the list, then you can add it manually by clicking on “Create a custom link”. As shown in screenshot below, you can see that there are certain fields you need to fill.

Here’s a setting by which you can add Google Bookmarks and Add to any links.

MakeUseOf blog has written a nice post on how to add more “Send to” buttons.
Now when you go back to Google reader and open any post, you will find a “send to” link at the bottom. Click on it to share the post immediately on other social sites.

That’s how you can easily share articles from within the Google reader interface. Do you use this method to share your favorite post? What are the different ways you share stuff on the internet? Tell us in the comments.
