Wishing Guiding Tech Readers a Happy Holi

Holi, the festival of colors, is an Indian festival that’s celebrated across the world in March. People go out and splash colors on each other, have fun, celebrate and end the day with sweets and banter.

While this festival is primarily celebrated in the Indian sub-continent and Asia, the globalization which has taken place in the last decade has caused festivals to transcend borders and the celebrations now take place around the world. So we thought it would be appropriate to wish our global audience on this day.

If you know about this festival, celebrate it. If you are reading about it for the first time, check out Holi’s Wikipedia page and some wonderful images of Holi on Flickr.

We’ll take the day off to get ourselves drenched in colors. Don’t be surprised if you get drenched too while you are out. As the popular adage goes, “Don’t mind, it’s Holi”. :) Happy Holi !
