Take Notes Quickly In Chrome Using Chromepad

Many computer users prefer notepad for taking notes. Recently we covered Scribbly, a quick desktop note taking & emailing tool. If you use Google Chrome and would rather prefer staying in your browser and take notes right inside it then Chromepad will help you.

It is a useful extension for Google Chrome and is very simple to use. After installation, it shows up as a small icon on the chrome extension bar. If you click on it, it pops up a small box to take note. Write anything you want and it’ll save it as you type.

There are some nice features in this extension. You can click on Menu tab to browse some options quickly. First option is “Clear text” which immediately clears any text present in the box.

If you want to take notes on separate window then click on “Release window” option. It will pop out a small note taking window.
